"the arrival."
after what has definitely been the longest summer vacation ever, i’m starting school in a week. i’ve enjoyed my time away from higher learning…the epic vegas vacation, delicious ramen excursions, countless food runs, catching up with old friends, disneyland trips, happy hour(s), and quality time with the family. i didn’t need to get away from it all…in fact, i needed to get closer to everything and i’m thankful for how my vacation went.
the next 15 months are going to be crazy. i’ve traded in the mountains and deserts for the valleys and beaches. goodbye san bernarghetto…hello anacrime! everything will be different at west coast. my only expectation is graduating on time and passing my nclex-rn. the rest i leave in God’s hands. i look forward to meeting new people, working at new hospitals, learning new things, and growing in love as a nurse. paulo, i hope you’re watching over me…this one’s for you!
